Lizzie came to us in April 2001, and what a
whirlwind adventure we had together.
She
made it to the final cut at the 2001
GRCA National Specialty in the Best of
Breed competition before JAMs were awarded
--both Judy Preston and I were about in tears
on the sidelines watching our special girl.
Lizzie took numerous Best of Opposites,
and even one Best of Breed owner-handled
the first weekend I showed her.
Lizzie was very talented in the agility
ring, finishing four titles in short order
(even though she took off eight months for
motherhood!)--she loved to jump and was
the only one of our dogs who wasn't an
alum of the nasty Open Jumpers Hell Club!
But,
the achievement for which we will
treasure our Lizzie the most was giving
us six beautiful puppies in April 2002.
Our Morgan is a Little Lizzie in a red-dog
suit, and the others are all in wonderful
homes in Casper and Rapid City. Lizzie was
a wonderful mother, and her little ones
will be her legacy . . . I know they will
make her proud.

Even
though we only had her for a short time, losing her in a terrible
accident, we loved Lizzie as much as if we'd raised her from a puppy. She
was such a wonderful part of our family, and she brought such joy into our
lives. We were so proud of our little "Lizard Lover" who will
always be in
our hearts. The special memories of our happy, smiling, energetic girl will
always be with us. |
