		Puppy Reservation Information and Process

		Please read our Philosophy, and review this reservation process carefully BEFORE you contact us. All prospective puppy buyers will be interviewed prior to being added to our waiting list. You may contact me by phone or email to begin this process (Leslie Blythe, 307.235.2920, or info@mariahgoldens.com). After we have an opportunity to talk personally, you will be placed on our waiting list in the order in which you contacted us. After the litter is whelped, you will also be sent an information packet. Deposits will be taken after a litter is three weeks old. Deposit amounts vary depending on whether you are purchasing a companion or show puppy. Contracts are signed when the puppy goes home. PLEASE NOTE: While we will try our very best to place a puppy with you from the litter in which you are interested, being put on the waiting list does not guarantee you will receive a puppy from a particular litter. There are simply too many variables involved in placing puppies to promise anyone a puppy from a certain litter (such as litter size, how many show puppies are in a litter, sex of the puppies available and so forth). In some cases, especially with small litters, companion puppies may not be available if all seem to be show quality. If a puppy is not available from the particular litter in which you are waiting, you have the option of waiting for the next litter. We always reserve the right to decide who receives one of our puppies. Finding the right home for each puppy is of utmost importance to us. You ALWAYS have the right to decide not to take a puppy, EVEN at the last minute. NO ONE should feel obligated to take a puppy home even after being included on the waiting list, as circumstances can change in everyone's life. As soon as you determine you do not want a puppy, please notify us of your decision as most litters will have a waiting list of homes. We do not have an issue with you being added to other reputable breeders' waiting lists. It's vitally important to us that you take home the puppy that is the best suited for you and your family, whether one of ours or from another reputable breeder. Show quality puppies are ALWAYS chosen first and their placement takes priority over the choosing of companion puppies. This is due primarily to the particular requirements for show puppies. Show quality puppies are ONLY placed in homes where I feel they will be shown. As a general rule, we will work together to select which puppy goes to your home. This is done following temperament testing to ensure that your family brings home the puppy that best fits your requirements. If none of the puppies available are suitable for your needs, you may wait for the next litter or go to another breeder. We are always happy to make referrals to other reputable breeders. Puppies usually will go home between 7 1/2 - 9 weeks depending on when We are able to determine which puppies are potential show dogs and if the pups are mature enough to go home.

		We respectfully do not sell puppies or older dogs outside of North America. Depending on individual circumstances, a deposit may be required to hold a reservation. Deposits may vary depending on whether a family is receiving a show or companion puppy. Buyer is responsible for any costs involved in shipping of a puppy or dog, including health certificates, shipping costs, airline charges and crates involved if the puppy or dog is returned for ANY reason. This includes a show-potential puppy that is unacceptable to the buyer.
